The 23th PI Club of the Beijing Institutes of Life Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (BIOLS, CAS) was held in Beijing on November 26, 2015. The topic of this PI Club was on insect-borne diseases research. More than 20 PIs from institutes of CAS attended the event.

Dr. Zhen Zou, principaI investigator in Institute of Zoology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOZ，CAS), gave presentations on their recent research advances. The PIs had a heated discussion on related topics including vector biology，plant-insect interaction and immune responses.
