The Symposium on Protein & Cell was held in Beijing on September 17, 2015. It was co-organized by the Beijing Institutes of Life Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (BIOLS, CAS), Biophysical Society of China and Higher Education Press. More than 100 researchers including PIs and students attended the symposium.

BIOLS vice president Dr. George F. Gao gave welcome addresses on the opening ceremony. Eleven scientists from different countries shared their new finding on research. All the attendees had a heated discussion on promotion the development of Protein & Cell.
