The Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony between the Beijing Institutes of Life Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (BIOLS, CAS) and Beijing Jing-Meng Stem Cell Technology Co., Ltd was held in Beijing on November 2, 2012. Meanwhile, the symposium on Stem Cell Translational Medicine was held. 

On the opening ceremony, two collaborators jointly announced that BIOLS Research Centre for Translational Medicine was officially established, and BIOLS Research Base for Stem Cell Translational Medicine would be located in the Beijing Jing-Meng Stem Cell Technology Co., Ltd. 

Dr. Le Kang, President of the BIOLS, delivered a speech on the opening ceremony, emphasizing the importance of the bilateral cooperation. Then 11 experts in the field of stem cell research gave presentations. The cooperation between BIOLS and Beijing Jing-Meng Stem Cell Technology Co., Ltd will speed up the stem cell translation from science to clinical practice.
