Prof. LI Yueming gave a lecture titled Y-Secretase:a key player in Alzheimer disease and Cancer at the 13thseminar of Beijing Institutes of Life Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences(BIOLS) on July 26,2010.

On the lecture, Prof. LI introduced his research progress on γ-Secretase and the pathogenesis and current treatment of Alzheimer disease, saying that γ-Secretase offers potential for reducing Alzheimer’s enzyme and thus preventing or delaying Alzheimer disease.

Prof. LI now works with Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Cornell University.
